The procedure for providing preliminary information on passengers of foreign aircraft flying to Uzbekistan has been established
In order to improve the efficiency and simplify border control procedures, taking into account the standards and recommended practices of the International civil aviation organization (ICAO), a mandatory procedure was introduced for providing preliminary information about passengers by all operators of foreign aircraft.
In this regard, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted Resolution No. 293 of May 19, 2020 "On approval of the Regulation on the procedure for providing preliminary information about passengers by operators of foreign aircraft to units of the Border troops of the State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan".
According to the Decree, from July 1, 2020, all operators of foreign aircraft operating flights to the Republic of Uzbekistan will provide preliminary information about passengers to the Border troops of the State Security Service (BT SSC) in the standard format of ICAO.
Work with preliminary information about passengers will be carried out according to the system developed by the BT SSC.
Aviation administrations of foreign countries and foreign carriers will be notified of the introduction of a procedure for mandatory provision of preliminary information about passengers by international carriers in the BT SSC.
In turn, the introduction of this procedure will create additional facilities for foreign tourists to enter, stay and leave the territory of the Republic.
