The order of actions on prevention of penetration and spread of COVID-19 in Uzbekistan was approved
The Sanitary and Epidemiological Well-Being Agency has introduced an algorithm of actions to combat the spread of coronavirus. It includes the procedure for isolation, home quarantine, medical examination and remote monitoring of the health of citizens arriving from abroad.
From March 1, Uzbekistan introduced an algorithm of actions to prevent the penetration and spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19. The document on this was approved on February 27 by the decision of the Director of the Agency for Sanitary and Epidemiological Well-Being under the Ministry of Health - the chief state sanitary doctor Bahrom Almatov.
The procedure applies to persons who arrive in Uzbekistan directly from countries where there is a difficult epidemiological situation due to COVID-19, or through other countries. Quarantine and other restrictions do not apply to people arriving from countries where COVID-19 infection is not registered and where they lived more than 14 days before traveling to Uzbekistan.
According to the document, countries are divided into several categories.
Country Category 1a
Travellers from category 1a countries (China, South Korea, Iran, Italy, Afghanistan, Japan) are placed directly or through other states in quarantine for a period of 14 days. The exceptions are official and government delegations, holders of service and diplomatic passports, pilots and crew members of aircraft, locomotive crews, persons engaged in rail transportation, as well as drivers engaged in international road transport of goods.
Arriving in an organized manner on buses must be delivered to specially designated premises, where conditions for human life should be created. During a two-week quarantine, they are not allowed to leave the placement.
Activities on the part of medical personnel during quarantine include examination, measurement of body temperature and blood pressure, as well as a survey.
For medical reasons, biomaterial from the throat, nasopharynx can be taken for laboratory examination, and other studies may be carried out if necessary.
After quarantine is over, medical workers must conduct a telephone survey for 10 days.
In case of violation of the regime by persons under quarantine, administrative liability is provided for: article 195 (failure to take measures to eliminate the consequences of environmental pollution), article 257−1 (violation of sanitary legislation or the rules for combating epidemics) of the Criminal Code and article 54 (violation of the rules of control with epidemics) Code of Administrative Responsibility.
Country Category 1b
Insulation at home (home quarantine) is subject to travellers arriving from category 1b countries (China, South Korea, Iran, Italy, Afghanistan, Japan, France, USA, Germany, Singapore, Spain, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan) since the last visit to which less than 14 days have passed. Exceptions are the same as in country category 1a.
Travellers must be kept in isolation at the place of residence (home, hotel, hostel, etc.) for 14 days. They are not allowed to make contact with other people, with the exception of family members, and to visit crowded places.
Activities on the part of medical personnel during quarantine include: examination, measurement of body temperature and blood pressure, and polling.
For medical reasons, biomaterial from the pharynx, nasopharynx can be taken for laboratory research, if necessary, other studies were carried out.
For medical reasons (if symptoms of acute respiratory viral infections are detected), a person is hospitalized in a medical institution for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment.
After quarantine at the place of residence, health workers spend 10 days conducting a health survey by telephone.
In case of violation of the regime by a person under home quarantine, administrative responsibility is provided: article 195, article 257−1 of the Criminal Code and article 54 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.
Country Category 2
Travellers arriving from category 2 countries (Thailand, Azerbaijan, Great Britain, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates), including crew members, locomotive crews, persons associated with rail transportation, and drivers engaged in international automobile transport, are subject to two-week medical supervision at the place of residence. transportation of goods.
Travellers are advised not to visit crowded places and limit contacts with other people.
Within 14 days from the date of crossing the border, the observation by the health worker of medical institutions at the place of residence is established, then within 10 days - medical observation by phoning.
Daily at the place of residence, health workers conduct monitoring (examination, measurement of body temperature and a survey).
According to clinical indications (symptoms of acute respiratory viral infections), a person can be hospitalized in a medical institution for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment.
Country Category 3
Remote monitoring of health status (telephone calls) is required for persons arriving from category 3 countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Armenia, Belarus, Oman, Pakistan, Georgia, Czech Republic, Iraq, Lebanon, Canada, Lithuania, Estonia, Romania, Greece, Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Denmark, Sweden), less than 14 days have passed since the last visit.
Such persons have the right to travel around Uzbekistan (subject to informing medical institutions of their movement for medical supervision). They are advised not to visit crowded places and limit contacts with other people.
Every day for 24 days, health workers must conduct a health survey by telephone.
