Loss of citizenship
A list of documents for formalization of the issue of loss of citizenship of persons who left Uzbekistan and permanently reside abroad, but did not get registered at the consular offices of the diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan for 3 years without any reason
(in three copies)
- notification of a citizen of the loss of citizenship (sample); *
- autobiography (sample);
- a copy of the passport of the citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the front side and registration**;
- a document confirming departure for permanent residence abroad (went to the CIS countries - a copy of the address sheet of departure, for the rest - a permanent residence sticker in the passport);
- a notarized document received from the competent authorities of the host country confirming the date of obtaining foreign citizenship;
- passport copy of a citizen of a foreign state
-in case of a change in the last name or first name, date of birth of the applicant, as well as the name of the father, a notarized document confirming the above fact must be provided;
- photo 3x4 sm (6 pc)
- consular fee receipt.
A package of documents for registration of the issue of loss of citizenship upon the acquisition of citizenship of another country
(in three copies)
- notification of a citizen of the loss of citizenship (sample); *
- autobiography (sample);
- a copy of the passport of the citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan **;
- a notarized document received from the competent authorities of the host country confirming the date of obtaining foreign citizenship**;
- in case of a change in the last name or first name, date of birth of the applicant, as well as the name of the father, a notarized document confirming the above fact must be provided**;
- passport copy of a citizen of a foreign state
- photo 3x4 sm (6 pc)
- consular fee receipt.
Minors (under the age of 18) cannot submit documents for loss of citizenship. Only after reaching the age of 18, they can apply for loss of citizenship.
* If it is impossible to appear in person at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Singapore, the application should be notarized and the process of legalization done (for citizens living in Australia and New Zealand - an apostille).
