The President of the Republic of Belarus arrives in Uzbekistan on an official visit
At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko arrived in Uzbekistan on February 7 on an official visit.
The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, and other officials met the distinguished guest at Tashkent International Airport.
As previously reported, in accordance with the program, talks will be held at the highest level. Practical aspects of further enhancing multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus will be considered.
The issues of increasing mutual trade turnover, developing cooperation in agriculture, light and food industries, pharmaceuticals, communications, and others will be considered. Partnership development programs in vocational education, healthcare, culture, sports, and tourism will also be discussed.
Following the talks, bilateral documents are planned to be adopted.
