Singapore assists Uzbekistan to combat Covid-19

With the participation of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Singapore a ceremony for handing over of PCR tests for detecting the "COVID-2019" (A*STAR Fortitude Kit 2.0), produced by the Singapore company "MIRXES", designed for testing 5 thousand people was held.
PCR tests were provided to the Republic of Uzbekistan with the direct assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore and with sponsorship of Temasek Foundation, as well as the Institute for Management Development of Singapore (MDIS) in the amount of 3.0 thousand and 2.0 thousand tests respectively.
Uzbekistan Embassy expressing its heartfelt gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore, to Mr. Benedict Cheong CEO of Temasek Foundation and to Mr. Eric Kuan, President of Management Development of Singapore (MDIS) for they support and contributions of Test kits.
Special gratitude is extended to the “Indorama Corporation Pte Ltd” and to the “World Courier” for covering transportation cost and gently handling of this invaluable cargo to Uzbekistan respectively.
It should be noted that provided Test kits are the great and practical support of the Republic of Singapore to the decisive and comprehensive measures and efforts taken by the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan in combating with prevention of the spread of Covid-19.
