The President of Uzbekistan holds a meeting with the heads of leading Chinese companies

On September 2, as part of the business program of his official visit to the People’s Republic of China, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the heads of leading companies of this country.

Executives of China Gold, China Coal Resources, China Datang Corporation, Tianjin Rail Transit Group, Poly Changda, Tianjin Urban Construction, Jinchuan Group, China Synfuels, Jinchuan, ST Wonderful, Mizuda, World Agriculture, Dongzhu Ecology, and other companies attended the event.

The Head of State noted with satisfaction the traditionally high interest of Chinese business in Uzbekistan. Only last year, investment volume exceeded $10 billion.

At the meeting, prospects for implementing cooperation projects in various fields, including energy, geology, agriculture, water management, the chemical and jewelry industries, modernization of public transport, infrastructure development, and tourism, were discussed.
