Young mathematicians from Uzbekistan win 16 medals at international olympiad in Singapore

The final round of the international mathematics Olympiad Singapore International Math Olympiad Challenge (SIMOC 2025) was held in Singapore, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
A total of 45 talented students from schools across various regions of Uzbekistan took part in this prestigious competition. Having successfully passed the national selection stages, they demonstrated their skills and preparation in unique exam formats such as "Mind Sports" (logic-based competitions) and "Math Warriors" (math battles).
As a result of the final round, team Uzbekistan won 4 gold, 3 silver, and 9 bronze medals. In addition, 13 participants were awarded commendation diplomas, and 30 young mathematicians received special certificates for their active participation in the Olympiad.
These achievements are the practical outcome of a consistent, systematic, and effective preparation process carried out by students and their mentors, as well as a testament to the younger generation's analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and teamwork skills.
The results vividly reflect the implementation of a new quality-based approach in Uzbekistan’s education system, and the effectiveness of ongoing reforms in this field under the leadership of the President of Uzbekistan.
At the award ceremony marking the end of the competition, the SIMOC organizers praised the strong performance and high level of preparation of the Uzbek delegation, and expressed their willingness to consider hosting one of the future stages of this international olympiad in Uzbekistan.
