The President of Uzbekistan to attend the “Central Asia – Germany” Summit

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, will pay a working visit to Astana on September 17 to attend the second meeting of the leaders of Central Asian countries and Germany.

The issues of further developing and deepening multifaceted cooperation between the countries of the region and Germany will be considered at the summit.

Particular attention will be paid to enhancing practical interaction in trade, economic, investment, technological, transport and communications and other priority areas. It is also planned to hold a joint meeting with the heads of leading German companies and banks.

It should be noted that the first summit in the “Central Asia – Germany” format was held in Berlin on September 29 last year.
