Shavkat Mirziyoyev: “All ministries should change the method of work and improve the quality of services for the population”
A videoconference dedicated to an important issue for the country – the reform of the civil service continues under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
As the next direction, the need for changing the working methods of ministries and improving the quality of services provided to the population was noted.
In this direction, convenience has been created for the population in the payment system when obtaining a license, cadastral documents, birth certificates, passports for traveling abroad, and submitting documents to universities.
However, it was noted that amenities should be created in many more areas.
For example, to receive subsidies, the population and entrepreneurs have to provide conclusions from an average of 10 ministries and agencies. There are a lot of costs and manifestations of bureaucracy when connecting to the power grid.
In many districts, the issues of paid and free medical services have not yet been resolved, there is no record of medicines provided by the state and their delivery to those in need. It is still difficult to solve the problems of the population and entrepreneurs in the construction, transport, utilities, standardization, quarantine agencies.
In this regard, the Prime Minister has been assigned the following tasks for one month:
– developing accessible and convenient forms of the process of providing services to the population and entrepreneurs in each ministry and hokimiyat;
– reduction of unnecessary costs and documents;
– ensuring the implementation of the roadmap to create conditions for the accelerated and high-quality provision of services to the population.
It was noted that the only criterion is for the people to be satisfied with life.
Systems of active participation of the population in the construction of kindergartens, schools, roads, laying of water supply and electricity networks in mahallas have been formed.
In the six months that have passed within the framework of the Open Budget System, more than 2 thousand such projects have been launched by the requirements of the population. 1.1 trillion UZS have been allocated for their implementation. For the next six months, it is planned to allocate another 1 trillion UZS for such projects.
“The main thing is that people feel involved in these projects and carefully use the infrastructure being created”, the President noted.
Officials were instructed to make proposals to expand the scale of projects implemented jointly with the population.
