SCO events begin in Tianjin

On August 31, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, together with his spouse, participated in the informal events of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit, held at the Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center.
The events were also attended by the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, the Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh, the heads of government of Egypt, Cambodia, Nepal, and Armenia, as well as the Secretary-General of the United Nations António Guterres.
Upon arrival at the Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center, the President of Uzbekistan and his spouse were welcomed by the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping and his spouse.
Subsequently, the foreign leaders were presented with a vibrant concert program dedicated to the Tianjin SCO Summit.
