The President of Uzbekistan arrives in Tianjin

At the invitation of the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, together with his spouse, arrived on an official visit to the city of Tianjin.

At Binhai International Airport, the President of Uzbekistan was welcomed at the aircraft by China’s Minister of Transport Liu Wei and other officials.

In honor of the distinguished guest, the national flags of both countries were raised, and a guard of honor was lined up.

According to the program, on August 31 – September 1, the President of Uzbekistan will participate in the events of the next meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the SCO Plus Summit, which are expected to be the largest in the organization’s history.

In his address, the President of Uzbekistan will propose several key initiatives aimed at strengthening multilateral cooperation and enhancing the organization’s activities.
