Official welcome ceremony for the President of Uzbekistan held
Today, an official welcome ceremony was held at the Congress Square in Ljubljana for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who arrived on an official visit to the Republic of Slovenia.
President of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar warmly received the President of Uzbekistan. A guard of honor was lined up for the distinguished guest, and a military orchestra performed the national anthems of Uzbekistan and Slovenia.
The two leaders walked along the guard of honor and greeted members of the official delegations.
Following the ceremony, a wreath-laying took place at the Memorial to the Victims of All Wars in Star Park – an expression of respect for those who have fallen and a reaffirmation of commitment to the ideals of peace and humanism.
